No. Awesome is what she does in the script in that scene.

The movie version is quite lame in comparison, and that wild shaking of Winona is the only part where I have to laugh (maybe the "blue infeeerno" and the "the baaaastard" scene too), because it looks so overacted and ridiculous.

I liked that, too. She would have made, at least look-wise, gorgeous Carmilla.
