How did you discover 'Brain Donors?'

I never even realized this movie had been made until a relative shared his VHS copy with me, and I put off watching it until he kept enquiring if I'd viewed it.

I've never been so surprised by how funny an "unknown" movie could be, and though I've seen a good share of movies, I never saw this promoted, I suppose, so didn't see it in its initial release.

It's one of a few movies I can watch again and again and laugh at--even though I now know the rapid fire bits that are coming up.

How'd you learn that it was out there?

About two years ago, a friend of mine (who apparantely was one of the few people to see it in theaters) found a copy after not having seen it in ages, and one night excitedly forced me to watch it. It's such an underrated little gem!

And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?

I had seen a Cardboard Lobby stand-up a year before release when it was still called "Lame Ducks". I was very much into the Marx Bros at the time, so i wanted to see it.

It finally was released and I got to see it in the movie theater with a friend on opening night to a mostly empty theatre! We loved it though... and still do til this day!

I'm straight up lovable, son.

I discovered Brain Donors as a kid in the early 90s when it first aired on HBO and thought it was hilarious especially John Turturro's line "Nonsense I got twice as much sleep at a Julio Iglesias concert!!!!" :D
