in my opinion this movie is terrible
the plot sucks, the acting is bad, the music throughout the film is head doing and appalling, tim robbins is a bad singer,it is NOT funny,its too long,a complete and utter waste of time
2 movies id strongly recommend you avoid : bob roberts and true confessions
id rather die than watch them again
what would you suggest instead?

Suits me fine. Either that, or you could devote your time to learning to use captialization and punctuation properly. Ignoring these rules makes you look stupid and inarticulate.
Whether you actually are both of these things is obscured by your lack usage of the things mentioned above, and also by the lack of any examples to substantiate your position.

I didn't say you were. What I said, was that it made you LOOK that way.
Who said anything about structuring your response like an essay? I just think a comma, an apostrophe, capitalization and other syntactical devices where they belong might help others appreciate your opinion, as would giving an example here and there.
Everyone's got a right to their own opinion, to be sure. I just thought you might like it if people took yours seriously...

Well i did write my comment in a rush which explains why my spelling,punctuation,etc...is a bit all over the place
I hate when people can't spell on the internet aswell but the fact is that my comment is readable,and that's all that mattered to me at the time.
I just hate these people on message boards that attack people for having different opinions to them. My whole point of posting was because i was angry with myself for buying this movie and trusting the rating it got in imdb. I just thought i should warn people to not make the same mistake i did, and that they should probably research this film more that i did.
My opinion is still firm. I think Tim Robbins is a great actor but that he was really bad in this film, not so much his acting, i just hated his character and the movie in general. So this is just a warning to people who wanted to see a good Tim Robbins movie, you may be disappointed, i know i certainly was.
Man, I am getting so sick and tired of reading posts from people whose critical judgement is is limited to the phrase "this sucks."

It may have had decent political satire and I like Robbins as an actor, but as a whole I thought it kind of sucked. I guess I find it ironic that liberals like Robbins try to satire somebody they demonize normally and then get offended with things like the Team America satirization on them. I guess I was expecting more from this satire and didn't see it.
shareThis satire was made almost 15 years ago so that may be why it "kind of sucks". I had the pleasure of watching it when it came out and it felt a lot sharper than it does now. Also, Bob Roberts was a bit more subtle than Team America, Tim may not have liked the "slam you over the head" style to Team America rather it's message. Who knows? I actually like both films but I prefer the style of Roberts over Team America.
