did she kill her mom?

After haim comes back from killing megan's dad he said that he feels bad or something like that and She goes "don't worry your just feeling numb it comes and goes" and he answers " How would you know?" This is suppose to be the first person she killed but how does she know how it will feel? How did she know about putting the bomb in the bike. Perhaps she killed her mom to? or if not her mom clearly someone else, a past boyfriend. What do you think.

reply

Just watched the film and I think she did kill her mum. Who else could have done it? Not her dad.

reply

No Nilcole (Megan) father planted the bomb that kill her mother

how do u figure her dad did it? if you notice all the bombs look the same and if you notice when she got the bomb for her dads bike and the porsche she must of got it from that biker dude .... so he must of put it in her moms car

reply

Megan did it -- so obvious -- the Porsche....at the beginning her mom is driving a dinky Pontiac or Buick and the dad is a multi-millionaire owning ski resort guy ... and Megan uses him to try to trick Corey H into killing her...what do you mean how would she know to put it in the bike...she tells him it will all be over tomorrow -- so Corey H goes and looks in the bike and there is a bomb...later there is a bomb on his car after he gets out of jail...spoiled psycho.

I have the R rated <DVD> it did not have extended footage as some posters claim.

and there is no outside scenes as they claim unless I can get a different *R* unrated version..

first scene -- party upstairs -- bikini removal -- tit bite, oral etc.
next bed/shower, then licking and chasing up the stairs, then shower
then after her dad beats her he lets Corey H stay at the house, she whispers about the bomb -- then there is a small thrusting scene

next Corey H sneaks up to her room and sees her getting it on with Corey F -- but they do <Corey F and Megan> about pulling it off...so I am not sure who did it but Megan is clearly not innocent...wish I had a more uncut version -- virtual porn if they played it through.

But why did she kill Was at the end when he was about to kill Rich?

reply

did u ppl miss the end of the movie, they clearly state that wes killed her mom and the bombs was his idea

reply

I just watched the movie on Fearnet and at the end she says that Wes killed that one girl who was found in the woods (the supposed horse accident) but she never said anything about Wes having anything to do with the mom's murder. I'm leaning toward it being the spoiled brat.

***SPOILERS***

Megan's way of killing people was with bombs - hence why the title of the film is Blown Away. Yes, she killed her mother. She made her dad out to be the villain when in fact she wanted both of her parents gone so she could get her hands on an inheritance.

IMO, Megan was a sociopath. Sociopaths are very good at mirroring the emotions of normal people but deep down they have no real feeling for anyone but themselves. Getting what she wanted and using and destroying anyone who got in her way was par for the course. As she and Wes were conspiring together all along to lure Rich into murdering her father, Megan was most likely aware of the troubled history between the brothers. So she manipulated that to her advantage and played them against one another.

Did Wes kill Darla? At that point, can we as the viewers along with Rich believe anything Megan said? Megan had no apparent motive to so, Darla was no threat to her and and as far as what was indicated onscreen she knew nothing about the plots. But that doesn't mean that Megan didn't kill Darla. But Wes could have done it. Wes and Rich had serious issues, Wes secretly hated Rich for not doing anything to stop the abuse that their father inflicted on him and their mother. And hated the fact that Rich was never treated the same way by their old man. I don't think Wes had any real emotional attachment to Darla, but I think he was angry that she wanted Rich and not him. As he says after Darla's body was found, "Dad always liked him (Rich) best." Rich was always the favorite; that jealousy and resentment never ended for Wes, although he let Rich for the most part believe that it had. Wes even wanted reassurance from Megan that she loved him and not Rich. Of course, the ultimate irony is that Megan never loved Rich or Wes; she was incapable of love. Even if Rich hadn't survived the car bomb, Megan would have killed Wes eventually, when he was no longer useful to her. She wanted it all for herself; I don't think she would have shared the money with anyone.

Megan shot Wes in a last ditch effort to get Rich to believe that she was somehow the victim in the situation. But Rich had finally seen the truth about her. Then after she shot Wes, Megan tried to pin all the blame on him - "all this was his idea". As there was nothing to indicate that Rich and Wes even knew Megan when her mother died, it's pretty clear that Megan murdered her mother. Some things are open to interpretation as to who beat Megan or if she inflicted those injuries on herself, but as Rich says, "it was all you". Megan was going to kill Rich sooner or later. He was blinded by love, but he finally saw what was right in front of him all along.

Megan was a femme fatale, in pretty much every sense of the word.

I think that quote clearly is meant to imply that she killed her mom too.

The dad would just spend lots of money to get custody, no need to kill his wife.

Rich didn't kill Meghan's dad as he wasn't the one who planted the bomb on the bike, she was.

I haven't seen this in a while but I seem to remember that the premise was that she blamed her stepfather for her mom's death?
