Because if you look closely at the last sex scene in the movie you can see sweat rolling down Nicole Eggert's back, and they were in a relationship at the time this movie was made.
shareI don't know if they were, but I sure do remember this movie....because of the sex scenes. I was around 14 when it came out and full of hormones. This movie was awesome.

I'm pretty sure that you can have sex without sweating, you certainly can sweat without having sex, and in a movie you can always fake sweat with water or glycerine.
The director very probably didn't want to capture on camera them having sex, but show off (at least) Eggert's body in the best way possible – for the viewer.
My vote definitely goes to water!

No they weren't having sex...if you pause the movie and then zoom in you can see her crotchless is covered up. Can't believe that she ever let corey slide it in her. Oh well, she's fat now anyway.
