i bought this movie at a flea market for 2 dollars because it looked really cheesy. it was. but for some odd reason im very attached to it, maybe because it reminds me of the low budgets movies i'd see on tv after midnight when i was growing up in chicago.
shareI bought this film for a buck at a used video store, and it was money well spent. This film is low-budget and occasionally borders on schlock, but the performances and momentum are strong and everything rings true – except, perhaps, for Michael Nouri's wig. The cinematography is quite striking and reminds me of Midwestern winters. No surprise it was filmed in Winnipeg. 7/10 stars.
