Stone Cold is much better !

Okay, Beyond the Law is based on a true story, Stone Cold is pure nonsense, but Stone Cold is much more entertaining, the action is tighter and it rocks the whole time while Beyond drags here and there. I also think Charlie Sheen did not fit the part as good as Brian Bosworth. The cool thing about Stone Cold is that its so over the top and have a great finale. I also liked Lance Henriksen performance better than Michael Madsen's performance.

I liked this movie, but would have to agree that "Stone Cold" is more fun.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

reply

I like both movies, but in different ways. Beyond the Law is a drama, and Stone Cold is an action film. From an entertainment aspect, the latter was definitely more fun.

Lance Henricksen was perfect for the part, the real "Chains" was the Harley service manager in Gastonia NC about 10 years ago, and he looked like a pussy compared to Henricksen's character.

reply

They're both great!

Stone Cold's a better movie true. But it ain't because of Bosworth. He sucked. It was the Plot, the action, and Lance Henriksen and William Forsythe that made that movie.

Suggest you also look at the Australian movie "Stone" about a cop infiltrating a biker gang in Sydney. Set in the 1970s with plenty of nudity and violence. A good flick.

reply

And that's the bottom line!

reply

Bottom line: that juicing loser Brian Bosworth was in Stone Cold.

😂

reply

And he weren't all that bad, either.

reply

😂

Liar

Stone Cold was a silly fantasy.

Beyond the Law was at least based on reality.

Watchable despite Sheen’s chewing the scenery too much.

reply

I'll take silly biker fantasy over coked-up Charlie Sheen's vanity project any day.

reply

Yeah...tell that to Dan Saxon who lived it.

I just wish someone would tell me if this was based on Cocoanut Dan who singlehandedly beat the shit out of a dozen Hells Angels and went on to infiltrate the Mongols as well.

reply

I did tell him at an anime convention last year. He didn't say anything, just sulked and looked at the floor. I should mention that he was wearing a full-body Totoro costume, but you could tell it was him.

reply

Yeah, fucking hilarious considering Dan Horrigan died in 2011, asshole.

A man with more guts than any of us will ever show.

reply

You mean Totoro LIED to me?!

reply

And by the way...he was called Coconut Dan because he cracked cocoanuts open with his FIST for charity.

And no...I’m not bullshitting:

reply

Yep.

Stone Cold hits all the right action beats and moves along at a great pace. Has awesome scenery, some badass characters, and is a testosterone-filled thrill-ride. The finale is also balls-to-the-walls glorious. They just don't make them like that anymore.

Beyond The Law is watchable but I don't think I would never re-watch the film.... except for maybe Linda Fiorentino.
