I'm surprised that it's so low rated. I haven't seen this since I was a kid, but this was a family favourite back then. We watched it countless times, the second one too. I'm not sure if I'll ever watch it again though because I don't want to ruin the memories if it isn't as good as it was when I was a kid.

That's true. I was just surprised to see that it has a 31% rt score and a 5,7 imdb score. I've always been under the impression that it's an universally loved movie.
