Leon should be a protagonist

Ever since I first saw the movie when it came on cable specifically HBO out of all the characters including the titular ones Leon was the one that not only I supported and rooted for but also in a way kinda relate to. Like some kids during the same time period where the movie came out Leon was trying to fit in with the terrible trio (Bebe's Kids) but to no avail in fact he was labeled as the chump (Or punk in this case) of the group who constantly gets poked fun of and getting put down yet they are the ones that the audience are supposed to support and root for or even get behind of for that matter but after Leon successfully get them out of a situation now suddenly they respect him but that's ONLY because he did them a favor so it wasn't like they apologize to him and decided to treat him better for now on yes things have shifted abit but not so much. And thus this is why I get behind Leon whenever I watch this movie and while it maybe my personal opinion Leon should be the protagonist that even the audience (Myself included) can get behind with.
