I am watching this now after I taped it on tv.
However I think there’s some missing minutes in my recording.
The first thing scene is a big door of a wealthy home and a man and a woman looking at their baby (Penguin) being attacked by a cat before sending him off in some water.
Dis anything important happen before this?
No, I believe that's the opener, if I recall it correctly.
Before getting my DVD I did have a version I taped off the TV that omitted a bunch of stuff, but that's how the movie opens: young couple, creepy baby. Their story plays for a bit, then opening credits to Elfman's boss soundtrack.
