Considering its time, place and budget - I think this is a very decent sequel to part 2 and a good entry for the series and in horror-lore as a whole.

YES I think this and its predecessor undoubtedly lost the grunge and gorefest qualities of their original at their own cost, HOWEVER they surely are FUN and very much enjoyable and entertaining.

I'd certainly love to see a new/updated "Basket Case" movie by Hennenlotter that brings all these concerns and qualities to mind and ultimate fruition!!

I agree. I just watched all 3 and I actually slightly prefer this one over part 2.
The rating on here of 4.4 is ridiculous
