If remade now who would play the Babe?

It might be better to a good unknown actor of good size and then enlarge him as the movie goes along. The real Babe was hefty but not fat at the beginning of his career. Say someone who is around 25 that could play younger and then look older as Babe's career advances.

I like Tom Hardy but he doesn't have the right mouth (or nose).
Of course, no one has the right nose, except Ryan Howard.
Actually, Joba Chamberlain has the right face.

Too bad those two can't act, (and of course, Ryan Howard would have to wear A LOT of makeup, lol).

I think Ryan Hurst would make a great Babe Ruth. Most people know him as Opie from Sons of Anarchy with long hair and a long beard. But when he has a shaved face he looks way different with very much of a baby face as you can see him with in Remember the Titans.
