"You Can't Sue Me!"

The way he says that, he makes it sound like that he's being sued in court for basically crashing into and demolishing a parked car and the owner is sueing him for damages. I know that Asia has a totally different judicial system altoether, but still....

He's actually saying "You can't charge me" as in they don't have the evidence to convict him. Most HK movie subs are horrible. I don't know what version of the movie you watched, but I believe ever since HK was ceded to Britain, HK films always had default English subs. These subs are absolutely horrendous and much of the movie dialog may seem strange.

I got the hong kong own edition and nearly everly word is spelt wrong. LOL
