THIS was Anthony Wong's star-making role?????

Given the subject matter and they extreamly disturbing acts that he commits it was enough to ruin his career right then and there. Sure actors breakthrough a lot by taking risks but wow this was one hell of a career move. Wong's performance was incredible. So good and so real to life that it made the movie so dark and would allow anyone to be put off by him. The family killing scene at the end was so horrific I couldn't bare to watch. I got chills down my spine. Once you see Wong in this movie it is hard to imagine him as anyone else. That is why I'm surprised it was his mark as an actor.
