Is this movie the 'Hostel' of it's day?

Same kind of sleazy gore-ridden torture and murder movie. In fact Eli Roth is a huge fan of "The Untold Story".

I think Eli Roth is a huge fan of anything that features gore.

Hay, that's my favorite line from HM as well, or maybe it's when the secretary asks the little mouse-eared robot if he's been circumcised. Ha!

Thanks, i happen to be a big HM fan myself.

"You gotta be Fking kidding"-The Thing.

That's John Candy as the mouse-eared robot, by the way. You might have already known that, but I'm just throwing it out there.

Hostel? WTF that was one of the biggest cop outs. They hyped it up as the goriest movie ever when in reality nearly all the violence was off screen and what little you do is in no way impressive. If it wasn't for all the sex scenes, I think it would have just barely made the R rating. Something like August Underground would be a better answer since those movies actually had the balls to show everything and never cut away.

The AUGUST UNDERGROUND trilogy doesn't have "balls." If you want to watch a horror movie with real balls, check out Ryan Nicholson's GUTTERBALLS. It's not quite as explicit as the AUGUST UNDERGROUND trilogy (no incest, vomit, self-mutilation, necrophilia, infanticide or pedophilia) but it's intended for a more mainstream audience and not the "hardcore" horror fans. That alone makes it a much more ballsy movie. The first AUGUST UNDERGROUND is the only one that is even remotely disturbing. The second is too over-the top and nothing even happens in the third.
