shareI haven't seen this movie or read the book, both seem very hard to find! I read Amy's new book "If I Knew Then" and although you tabloid fans will enjoy hearing about it once more, it was an attempt by Amy to "set the record straight" and it felt a little like bull**** half the time. She has an excuse for everything and it gets a little tiring hearing "but it wasn't my fault, because...". It's funny because when it was written, a few years ago, Amy appeared to have her life back on track, she had a job as a newspaper writer and a husband. Then? She got fired from the writing gig and shot a porno, whoops! xD
shareI feel sorry for her kids. I mean, I thought she had grown and changed and she was talking about how she's most concerned about raising her kids right but now she's doing the nudie videos. Those kids, once they are school age and especially as they get older, are going to be teased and tormented in school because of who their mother is. They'll hear their parents talking about Amy's exploits and repeat it at school. When is she gonna grow up?

the book was good. i mean she was a kid when she wrote it and she did have a co author. she went through a bunch of crap but she also tells a lot of crap. just have to be able to know b.s. movie follows the book to the tee. interesting read about a period of time that pretty much started the scandal ridden nineties.

craziest crap is that amy and joey "reunited" years later - they are truly sick son of a bitches; I feel bad for her kids. I don't know if they are still w/each other, but I do KNOW they are a MATCH MADE IN HELL! Both are guilty for what they did his wife, Mary Jo didn't deserve what happened to her; I also think Joey put Amy up to doing it, I will never change my mind about that; amy thought it was love - joey used amy because he knew he had her wrapped around his fat finger! He also knew how messed up she was and he played on that; it still no excuse for her to violently shoot mary jo - MARY JO is the real victim here as well as her children. I can't believe she stood by Joey side for so long, glad that she finally divorced his no good cheating ass! Out of all these crazy movies about Amy Fisher, I think Noelle Parker looked more like the real AF. I think Drew Barrymore did the best acting though out of all the movies. Noelle wasn't bad either, but Alyssa Milano (imo) was the worst one. Alyssa is a good actress but NOT in the Amy Fisher movie. WE WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT REALLY HAPPENED, BC BOTH AMY/JOEY WERE NUT JOBS; I DON'T BELIEVE IN ANYTHING THAT EITHER OF THEM SPEW!
