I hae a rembrance of a movie wherr Edward James Olmos is a gang member or leader, ends up going to prison, and gets knifed by anothar prisoner, and the last scene is of him, eithar dead or dying, falling from a prison second story to the ground floor.

Is this that movie?

This movie ends with a white boy (JD) in control of la Primera mexican mafia. The white boy is calling the shots now.
