One of those mediocre films I love

i agree. jeff bridges is always interesting. i liked the bars in the movie. the rock n roll music was cool. as a square, i am impressed by these lives lived purely on instinct. and man out of jail trying to fit into society is always such an interesting. topic.

That's a good description. The movie is actually rather mediocre, a cliche story and nothing really special. But it had a "heart", that's why I liked it. I especially liked the street-kids scenes, but the Jeff Bridges scenes provided a good balance to the movie.
