The best part of the movie is disappointedly left out and phased out. On how Ridley got Pregnant. Such a huge emphasis on the Alien and Ridley’s romance clashes through the entire story and when it finishes reaches a climax it’s not there. It never happened. Kind of the feminist denying masculinity. What a disappointment and any true fan should turn around.

They explained it that it was it broke her capsule and showed a hidden photo in scene you can barely see. But wouldnt the fuck fans want to know about this shit especially since its such a major part of the movie?

I don't think it was necessary. When the realisation came it was a great revelation and the drama of what was happening just kept it going. It's not my favourite Alien movie but I think it is still a decent chapter in the overall story.
I listened to the William Gibson screenplay version as a radio play recorded earlier this year and I was so excited but felt let down. It put this movie in a whole new light for me. Still sad that Hicks and Newt were gone though, after all that happened in Aliens.
