Good news for Alien and Aliens fans

I watched the depressing, disrespectful (to the storyline) Alien 3 for the first time as part of a Labor Day movie marathon of the franchise and deeply regretted it, tearing up at the ending and feeling hopeless over the insane changes in the beginning. I had never watched it before out of instinct and should have kept avoiding it. While the movie is decent in terms of technical film making and acting, the plot is horrific (no pun intended).

Now, I may get what I want . . post Aliens retelling which Sigourney Weaver and James Cameron are encouraging.
