How did Aladdin end up with a nice place while Jasmine's room was so beautiful in the movie?

When I have seen Aladdin I have always admired Aladdin's place because I thought it looked so nice and comfortable with dozens of silk pillows that doubled as his couch/bed and I always wanted to have a little sitting area in my room designed like this because it sounds very stylish. But I always wondered why Princess Jasmine had a nice room but had to sleep on a couch and I couldn't figure out why since Jasmine is a princess why couldn't Disney give her a suite with her dressing area in one room and a bedroom with a beautiful silk curtained canopy bed? I also like Jasmine's room because it's beautiful and I wish I could do my room like that. But the thing I find surprising is that in the reprise scene of One Jump Ahead of Aladdin when Aladdin and Abu go home to get some rest is that Abu actually has his own pillow and his own blanket because out of all the dozens of pillows that Aladdin has Aladdin should sleep on a large pillow that also has room for Abu too so Aladdin can cuddle Abu in his arms while they sleep. That scene is so wonderful and my favorite because Abu is just too cute and makes me just want to cuddle him in my arms
