Possible dirty joke In First episode

Was thinking of this show earlier for some reason and a line from Gambit came to mind. Then I saw a second meaning behind it.

In the mall Gambit is buying several packs of cards. The female clerk flirts with him saying he must love playing cards. Gambit flirts back saying, "I like Solitare alright, unless I got some one to play with.." So was that a masturbation joke? "Solitare" aka playing solo. Someone got one past the sensors I think.

I remember that too! Definitely a good one that snuck by.

Also, the episode where Gambit says to Rogue, "You can drain my energy anytime chere, Gambit has plenty." Definitely more than one meaning going on there.

That's great.

I feel tempted to re-watch the whole thing, so I can get these jokes that I missed.

This show was a more mature cartoon, and was geared towards teens so... a little adult humor is called for.

I hope you're not complaining (:

yes that was what my mom saw!! And frankly she did not mind @ all. Better a fictional cartoon character than my verbally abusive dad

Am wondering if this aspect is why the studios are (ridiculously) having a hard time with the gambit movie--essentially killing it off.

Personally he was the most interesting one out of the bunch.

Other than charging small things and stealing, his superhero power was flirting with women.....there is a LOT more you can do with a big screen live action that you cannot show in a cartoon/comic book.

Was ecstatic when this was announced and cannot believe Disney decided to kill it off Hope an actor will self-finance/produce it. I'd certainly go to watch it. I bet a lot more people would too.
