Jay's final words during the credits of his last show...what did he say?

First of all, I wanted to say how much I'm gonna miss Jay Leno after watching him host The Tonight Show for 22 years, although I didn't watch every show because I was a lot younger. Anyway, I thought that his final speech was pretty touching and heartfelt...and you can tell that it was very hard for him to leave the show.

But I was wondering something. After Garth Brooks performed and hugged Jay during the final credits, I noticed that after he said "Thanks everyone...watch Jimmy Fallon" for the last time, he said something else and smiled as it cut to his production company logo. My question is, what did he say? It was kind of hard hearing him because of the audience cheering and applauding, but to me it sounded like he said, "I'll be home, honey" to his wife IMO. I'm not sure.

Anyone else?

Same here I didn't watch all 22 years of his show. I'd say I probably off and on watched at least 12-15 years of his show. But I did cry when I watched his show.

That's what he said. It was "I'm coming home honey." I watched it again, but you're really close

Yeah, me too. I also watched about 12-15 years of the show, but thanks for confirming that I was correct about what he said. Personally, I thought that was a fine way of saying to the audience that he was gonna be alright and that we shouldn't worry about his next chapter IMO.
