CW is doing a remake

Or maybe a remake of the original 70s series. Whatever. Nothing will be as special and as good as this one I loved when I was growing up. Kristian Schmid, yummy. Cool graphics and music, awesome opening titles, great guest stars (Jean Marsh and Christopher Lee, fantastic!), intriguing ideas to a young mind (teleporting, telepathy), evil masterminds, exotic locations (hey, England was exotic to me, and fake Egypt, why not), weekly cliffhangers, it had it all. I couldn't wait to get home by 1:30pm every Sunday and find out what happened next.

I hate the idea of a slick new remake a la Nikita (Which has nothing like the darkness of La Femme Nikita). Bah, humbug.
