CLOSURE ON 16 YEARS OF MY LIFE

when i was like 5 years old i remembered seeing a few episodes of this show and loving it, but I never knew what it was called or knew anything about it besides the fact that there were english accents, eqyptian stuff and the kids could teleport. It was on Nick and then changed times or stations or something and I never saw it again, and since I was so young and never knew anything else about it, people always had no idea what I was talking about when I tried finding out what this show was
everyone told me I was crazy and that there was never anything like this ever on nickelodeon haha until TODAY, about 20 minutes ago I found it

a decade and a half search has come to an end I can die now

I have exactly the same memories. I was only 5 or 6 when this was on but its stuck with me. The opening titles in particular but also a scene where two twin henchwomen were pretending to be window cleaners but were secretly listening in to a meeting. It must be from the Culex experiment series reading the plot description. If anyone has a link to it I'd love to see it again.

The other pogram that stuck with me even more was 'The Girl From Tomorrow' which was equally intriguing to the kid brain.

How come pandas always look like people in panda suits?

You are my hero... I've been looking for tomorrow people dvd's for a long time (still no region one huh) and finally found THIS forum. Even worse than the tomorrow people was this show however. Images from "The Girl From Tomorrow" have been with me since I was a kid and I could NEVER find it.

THANKS!

I watched the show religiously while it was on, but then couldn't remember the name after a few years had passed. Again, all I could remember was the teleporting, the undersea lair/lab/base, and that it was on Nick - and everyone thought I was crazy when I tried to tell/ask them about it! (Then again, everyone thought I was crazy when I told them there was a cool Nick sketch show /before/ All That until I found out it was called Roundhouse - THEN they all remembered lol)

It's been at LEAST 12 years that I've been looking for this - we should start a support group XD

I know exactly how you feel. I began to wonder if I was insane... nobody I knew remembered this show at all. They'd remember every other show on Nick, but whenever I tried to explain this one, they'd look at me like I was nuts. I was obsessed with it. I remember it being on irregularly, like a special... I might be wrong on that, but for years that's how I reasoned that other people missed it. I had vivid memories of the ship, the beach, and the bees. I remembered playing in my yard, moving the stones in my driveway and looking for the ship portal, lol. These memories plagued me for years. I attempted countless failed searches, but for some reason one day The Tomorrow People popped up in the search results and I was able to piece it back together. I'm so glad you were able to find it and put your mind at ease... And I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one!!

I too used to watch the show, and all I could remember was one was an American kid and the teleporting. I only found this forum because I happened to look up an actor who was in it (that I never remembered. But then I didn't remember he was in Star Wars too).

Same here. I remember watching as a child, 5,6,7 or 8 years old, can't remember exactly. But the images of the show that remained with me was of a beach, a long haired dude and a black girl and they could teleport and how cool that all was. I remember calling it "The Teleporters" because I didn't know the name. And I only remember watching 5 episodes. But apparently there was 26 episodes. What happened to the rest? Who aired them? Watching now as an adult... They really should've done better with the "special effects". I'm enjoying the new incarnation on the CW.
