Article where this dude admits he made up lies about this show!

lol this is amazing!

"Years ago, maybe around 2003 when I was in middle school, I stumbled across the site TVTome.com. It was a user-edited wiki for TV shows. To be an editor for the big, popular shows you had to prove why you were qualified. But for some forgotten garbage show like Street Sharks, the screening process was nonexistent. Sensing an opportunity for nonsense, I became the Street Sharks editor and filled its page with lies. I made up characters, voice actors, episodes, plot descriptions, everything."

I always read about this "other" Street Shark show on the internet and immediately knew it was nonsense. Being the biggest Street Shark fan on the planet growing up (I had every action figure, every episode taped on VHS, lunchboxes, back packs, etc.) I would have definitely came across this fake show that had a female shark named Roxie and villains like Eelvil and Meathook had it been real.

I'm glad someone finally came forward and admitted to lying about it as I always wondered about the origins of this second series that never existed. Such a strange thing to do and for years I was disturbed that there were possibly episodes I had never seen of my favorite cartoon from my childhood.
