ok.............am i the only one who thinks its weird that sharkey was pink?
i mean, i luved this show but why pink?
there arent really many pink sharks swimming round!!

It was to throw the villians off, right before Sharkey wipped out his dual pistols! Didn't Sharkey have pistols? That fired pearls? Waaay too long ago.
shareBecause this was a cartoon.. not a show trying to be as realistic as possible.. if you didn't notice, there are much more shocking features of that character than the fact that he's pink.
In my opinion, if I were creating a character based on a shark that has to appeal to young children, he couldn't be a color that would relate to a fearsome shark.. what's more lovable a character than one that's pink? I'm guessing he was pink, simply so that he wouldn't appear scary..
No there aren't too many pink sharks swimming around, but there aren't many talking sharks swimming around either.
