The ending of the Gang Violence episode?

I watched this show back when it was on the air and I could swear I remember that episode ending differently. As is, one of the cast members is surrounded by gang members as he calls out "Reprise the theme song and roll the credits!", but nothing happens. The gang members walk away as he asks "Please? Anyone?" but the set is empty except for him.

I could swear, I mean absolutely, positively swear that this episode ended with all of the other cast members lying on the ground after having supposedly been killed in a shootout. And then when the last survivor calls for the theme song, nobody moves and he gets more frantic as he calls for anyone to respond.

For years, that scene, or at least how I remember it, has been burned into my memory. It always stayed with me because it was such a powerful scene. While I'm sure the existing gang violence ending made a statement, it's not nearly as effective.

I just downloaded copies of all the episodes and that's the only one with a silent ending. I don't know if the copies were recorded off first-run episodes, or repeats. Is it possible that Nickelodeon censored that episode after it first aired, or if is my memory just completely off?
