shareI couldn't believe my eyes. I just checked to see if it was correct. I wasn't doubting you but I/we've been waiting so long for this to come out in a season boxset/season boxsets, that it's hard to believe.
It says the running time is 360 minutes. Now that would be around 12 episodes, but there were just four episodes in the first season of The Red Shoe Diaries. I will pre-order this, but it seems a lot of money for just four episodes (the first season).
Another interesting thing on the pre-order screen is the distributor. It's not Showtime but someone who I've never heard of. But then again there are many DVD distributors who, when you buy film and TV DVD titles you've never heard of before or as much as other DVD distributors.
I got more info. probably more than 1 season, probably two seasons. I emailed the people who run tvshowsondvd.com, and they said it is a different distributer,so they probably bought the rights from showtime. I will post more info as I know it. hopefully this set will not suck, and more will follow.
shareI emailed TVShowsOnDVD last week myself, to tell them that I'd read in a thread started here (this thread which you started) that on Amazon.com was a listing for Red Shoe Diaries: Season 1, adding that it's finally coming out in season boxsets.
I checked the Anthem Pictures website again a few days ago and there's no new info.
Oh Wow! This IS great news-- I had hoped that someone would see our interest, and release that series on DVD, in it's entirety.
