SEASON 1 POSTPONED INDEFINITLY......

SEASON 1 HAS BEEN POSTPONED INDEFINITLY, AND NO DATE HAS BEEN GIVEN AS TO WHEN IT WILL BE RELEASED, IF AT ALL. NO EXPLAINATION GIVEN AT ALL. ANTHEM PICTURES WOULD SAY NO MORE THAN THIS, ACCORDING TO TVSHOWSONDVD.COM
POOR DVD PRE-ORDER SALES IS THE LIKELY REASON. THIS IS A HUGE BLOW TO MYSELF AND ALL OTHER DIE HARD FANS, AND HOPEFULLY THEY WILL GET THIS AND THE OTHER SETS IN THE FUTURE OUT. KEEP FINGERS CROSSED.

From my point of view I think the main reason for poor DVD pre-order sales is because of the high price they're charging on Amazon.com. $35.99 for a six hour DVD spread over 4 discs? Way too much. I cancelled my pre-order after thinking about it. I just didn't like the price they were charging. It should have been around $25 instead.

I'm soooo sad and diappointed :(

I can't believe it.

Please release season One!!!!!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I'm so crushed

I think its pure bull that they canceled the thing. I pre-ordered it months ago and when I went to the site to check on the status of my order I clicked on the link to the RSD DVD page and it said... "Currently not available" Whenever I see that on Amazon I cringe so I canceled my order.

So bummed about it.

I am almost positive it had more than six, and hopefully theyare adding more.

Are you talking about the number of episodes on the boxset or the number of pre-orders it had (not being sarcastic towards Anthem Pictures or yourself (*))?

(*) I'm not saying you work for Anthem Pictures.

six episodes on 4 discs makes no sense. I am sure it had more, and they may release even more on a 4 disc set which is why it was pulled. keep in mind these episoeds were half hour long, not a full hour.

That was probably meant to be six hours on 4 discs, not 6 episodes. Would make more sense as 13 half-hour shows per season equates to roughly 6 hours. A lot of times Amazon (or whoever writes the item description for products) gets the info horribly wrong for listings and confuses/angers the hell out of people.

Damn shame the ball never got rolling on DVD sets for this show...you can buy and watch the individual shows per viewing on Amazon, but a lot of people hate watching stuff on their computers (myself being one of them) and will never purchase anything that way.

I'm really sick of paying MORE for stuff...and getting LESS of it!

You can't really say a lot of people don't like watching series or movies on their computer with the success of Netflix, i don't have a Netflix account but I would say from the comments I see on here and from friends on Facebook a lot of them have Netflix and watch things on their computers and tablets, I saw some guy on the train a few days ago watching one of the Batman films on his smartphone, and i guess Hulu does well with both it's free and paid service.

If you have a Hulu+ account which is their paid service you can watch the series from their site on your television or any other media device.

Movies will make you famous; Television will make you rich; But theatre will make you good.
