What's up with them being able to use cell phones this season?

I used to watch America's Next Top Model (don't judge) and it was a good show until season 20 when it went completely social media and really took away from the love I had of the show.
Also, the cast plays into the cameras more than they ever have. Makes you wonder how much of what they do, especially the confrontations, are real.

Same here. I loved the old format of the show but never could get into the social media stuff. I don't watch new episodes anymore but I love to watch repeats. share
The show got cancelled after Cycle 22, but VH1 is supposed to pick up the show.
shareI'm pretty sure I saw a commercial yesterday for a new season starting in December but I don't remember what channel is was on.
shareANTM will be on VH1 starting 12 December 2016.

I think the social media changes to ANTM is what got the show cancelled. Tyra is trying to say she was done with the show, but I feel otherwise.
