Does anyone know where copies or Boxed sets VHS, of this series can be downloaded, purchased or otherwise viewed.
I think it was an NBC series, and don't understand why they have neither re-broadcast the series or at least made a vhs boxed set available.
Ideas anyone?
I do not have an idea where to find the videos of "The Powers That Be" but are also interested in a set. I think it was one of the best comedies on TV. It would be a shame if it is lost in the archives. We realy need to persue this further. What shall we do? Anyone with a good idea?

I would love to see it on DVD, too. I don't know why it isn't available yet. It had a great cast, a lot of familiar actors who went on to bigger things. You can vote for it at tvshowsondvd.com (Some of the studios check the stats on the site, so voting for it could help.)

I too would love to see this underated series out professionaly. I have all of season 1 recorded from when it aired originally and some of season 2 but need to getthe reat of them.

I laughed myself silly when this show was broadcast & not happy when it was taken off. I do hope you have the episode when Sen. Powers is shot in the a--,

I only saw one season, that's all they showed here in Sweden, but I loved it!! I've been looking for a dvd set with both seasons.
Best scene is (of the ep's I've seen) when Powers wife cries out "Ough...I've been shot!" the daughter replies "where mommy, where?" Powers wife points (theatrically) to a painting of her over the fire place "There!!!!" I was totally sold!!! :D

im really looking for both seasons ( 21 episodes )of the powers that be on ntsc tape ( not dvd ) because i can only play vhs ntsc tapes here in holland.
