Fans?

Nightmare Cafe was a very short lived series. I guess the producers tried to capitalize on the horror movie fame of cast member, Robert Englund by putting "Nightmare" in the title. Unfortunately, the show never had a chance. Pity, because it was really one of the greatest shows ever! The show was like a cross between The Twilight Zone and Moonlighting set in a diner somewhere in spiritual limbo! Weird enough for you? It was quirky, imaginative, and deeply moving! The characters and stories were wonderful.

Are there any other fans out there beside me? It seems all my favorite shows quickly get cancelled (Nightmare Cafe, Highwayman, Mann and Machine, Street Hawk, The Flash, Max Headroom, Space Rangers, New Fantasy Island, etc.), while something like Baywatch (ugh) lasts for over a decade! I think Nightmare Cafe is an excellent choice for a revival BTW (either in a new TV series or a full length theatrical movie).

I totally agree!
The first time the episodes were on the air here in Italy I just got a kick out of them!
Wish they were released on DVD...

I LOVED that show, I actually watched every ep and hated when it got cancelled.

Ignoring isn't the same as ignorance, you have to work at it.

Yeah, great show. I have all of the episodes on DVD, bought it on ebay. It's a shame the show didn't last longer.

Absolutely a fan. Wish we could have gotten at the very least a full season.
