Did anyone find it non convincing that it was so easy for Robert to cheat on Jane? When Sydney and Michael set him up.

Yeah, they didn't portray him as a cheater at all. I know Michael's point was "all men cheat", but the writers didn't have to give him right on that point. I really wish it was a bit more complicated than that.

Yes! He seemed to really be fond of Jane, and to know what she went through with Michael it was ridiculous that it was that easy for him to give in.

Keep in mind...he was drunk. Which I am surprised he didn't try to use as a defense.

I loved Michael's "I cheat with doctors. You cheat with whores." line though.

I know it's not an excuse. I was just surprised he didn't try to use the excuse.

Or "it just happened". Like you just fall into bed with someone.

Thing is that Robert was a divorce lawyer - he surely had handled many cases where marriages where torn apart by cheating (er, Jane's divorce for one), so it's a bit of a stretch that he'd cheat.
