Goodbye Mad About You - no more message boards!

IMDB will be closing all message boards soon.

One of the main reasons why I used IMDB back in the day was to read about my favorite TV show of all time; Mad About You. Long before IMDB, we had message boards. If you know where to look, you'll find old internet message boards from back when the internet was a baby. There was a board for Mad About You, and it was also the first thing I searched for once I learned they existed. I noticed a lot of the info here was taken from there.

Believe it or not, people used to be quite passionate about this show. I loved reading about the show, people's thoughts, questions, etc. I learned where the apartment was which was used in filming. I learned all kinds of little tidbits. I loved this show.

And now, that's all over. IMDB is closing the message boards, and now I have nowhere to "connect" with people who also love this incredible show. It's a good thing I'm older now, or I might actually be upset! But, it's just sad.

Goodbye Mad About You IMDB Message Board. Goodbye all the questions about the characters, about Murray, about the theme song and how it came to be. Goodbye scene locations and New York gossip. Goodbye Paul and Jamie and Ira and Sheldon (who!?). Goodbye!
