i vaguely remember the late great AiC doing this show but i'm unsure?! if they did perform it was early in the shows history. can anyone confirm their appearance here? and if so, what songs did they do?

Yeah they did. They're on the later and louder DVD doing 'Them Bones'. Think its about 92/93

The new version of Alice in Chains were on in 2009 - the episode w/Steve Martin (yes, that Steve Martin)
