Connor?

Why did they never bring Connor back after the pilot?

Know there was a few reasons, but at the moment just re watching again now that have a working machine that can watch my disks with the extras, will try to rem to come back here and give more reasons if you want, and/or maybe these, below, were the main reasons and am imagining that there are more reason(s)

1, know were glad to be able to loosely tie in the movie, well the "kinsmen" as Connor was a legend when Duncan was a child to his first death

2, time, least with when he did help tie together, he was very busy and travel for anymore would not work, though not sure if rem completely right, but was only 1 other time they were going to ask...

can call this either 2.2 or 3 Connor was not really needed in the tv show, movies were at one time, separate from the show and only the loose tie in at the beginning was all that they fig was needed to appease those who liked the movies, and well worked for those who had never seen the movies

3/4, money, they really did not have $$ to pay for more appearances, the special effects already being used ate a lot of the budget

Live life to be alive...and may your day be well or find one thing that gives you that little extra, even just a 😄

Christopher Lambert agreed to only do the one episode. He was a considered a big star at the time and didnt care much for American television. He only wanted to do movies and portray various kinds of characters.

Because he was a big name at the time, they could not afford to cast him in an episode. Adrian Paul said they had maybe $900,000 total per episode at best. Christopher was paid millions for just the one episode. They literally couldn't afford to have him as a guest star during the decade of the 1990s.

Also Christopher felt it wasn't proper to have Connor show up every so often on the series. That it would take away from Adrian being the hero.

I've read they were going to have him return in the final episode of the first season (Fitzcairn's role perhaps?) but Lambert refused outright to come back!
