or did he move to europe?
Homer: At least that Jimmy Stewart version had that giant rabbit who ran the Savings & Loan.

He faked his death, moved to Spain (where SOMEONE inherited all of his money). Only Sophia knows (she spills the beans, but others think she's in denial).

That was a weird ending to a weird premise. But I suppose it went with Stan's character. Self involved, irresponsible.

I took it to mean that he died but Sophia couldn't let go and her mind needed closure. it was one of those stories that lets you decide I guess.

stan could of died n Sophia just imagined he returned in her own mind just my own thought
