I wish it stuck to the original pilot episode

To give the show a romantic angle to it. I don't think Natalie was purposely keeping Nick a vampire for her own reasons. But I do object to, not her character but the fact that the series made her a romantic interest of Nick's. That has been done so much in past shows/movies and really never made sense, so they either needed to not do it or had an episode or two to show why it definitely would not have worked and had them being friends from then on.
