Funny this should be brought up! When I first saw D & G, I immediately thought of this show! Only thing was, no one but me seemed to remember it but me.

I totally concur. Sometimes it takes one show to break ground, then the copy makes the run. Unfortunately, the first show is usually the better one. Like now with Fox, that annoying War at Home is a totally rip of Titus but with kids.
