Wrong birthday

In season 1 Dr. Mikes birthday was in March. In season 4 "the expedition" was in November. I didn't notice it before just now when I'm rewatching the show.

Well, The Expedition was one of those episodes that seemed like was written around Jane's pregnancy. It was one of those episodes that just didn't seem to make much sense in a lot of ways. But one thing about it, Jane didn't have much of a part, and she was mostly sitting down. If you look at the Episode Guide (I can send it to you if you don't have one, just PM me with your email address), you can see how they stopped filming for a couple of months so she could have the babies. After that, she wore a fake pregnancy bump until she had her baby on the show.

Actually, I seem to recall that her birthday was supposed to be February 15, which is Jane's actual birthday, but I could be remembering that wrong. At any rate, things like that happen in a show like this. When the show was running once a week, little discrepancies like that made very little difference. It's only when we can watch over and over that we tend to notice stuff like that.

"How was the war, sir?"
"As any war, ma'am, a waste of good men." (Poldark)

Correct ... in the pilot, Dr. Quinn says she was born on February 15, but it seems to bounce around during the rest of the series.
