Wow! Howie Mandel was just on Ellen promoting Deal or No Deal, and he said he would be returning to Ellen to promote Bobbys World because "We're bringing it back!!" soooo! For all you major fans! REJOICE! I think he either said 2007 ot 2008, and Im not lying. :)

I would rejoice, but somehow, I can't, knowing that Bobby's World somehow became a Hot Topic item...they probably had to bring the show back to show all the little Emo kids exactly what Bobby's World is/was. It was probably the clamoring of the little whiny Emos that got this show back. I am glad it's coming back, for I miss it dearly, but the whole Hot Topic thing still sucks.

If Bobby's World returns as a new show, then it should:
1) Be made for Disney Channel and ABC Kids, since News Corporation--home of 20th Century Fox, Fox Broadcasting and MyNetworkTV--and Haim Saban--founder of Saban Entertainment (now BVS Entertainment)--sold what Fox Family became ABC Family to the Walt Disney Company in 2001.
2) Be titled (Disney's) The All-New Bobby's World.
3) Be produced by Alevy Productions in association with Walt Disney Television Animation and Disney Channel. (Hope Disney acquires the rights to Bobby's World, since Disney bought Jumbo Pictures (including Doug) back in the mid-1990s. If Doug was the only Nicktoon to be acquired by a non-Viacom company, then Bobby's World should be the first and/or only cartoon that Fox produced and aired and to be acquired by a non-News Corporation company, and that non-Viacom and non-News Corporation company is...you've guest it: Disney! I know that Anchor Bay Entertainment distributes the DVD rights to the series.

shareI think one of my favorite episodes is when he was riding his big wheel in the house and saw his sister Kelly, he replyed with the song "I See London, I see France, I see Kelly Underpants". To this date, I remember laughing so hard the way Howie made bobby sound when he got to the underpants part.
Or what about the episode when Howie walked to the kitchen door, and saw bobby 2 big feet prints in the door. CLASSIC STUFF!
I just hope they dont re-animate it or screw it up. Go back to the old school freehand drawing and coloring. And for Godsakes, don't make it all 3D or newschool. Show all these young kids what cartoons were like in the 90's. Actually...Everything was better in the 90's! >_<

Yeah...If they tried to make new episodes, lord knows they would change a crapload of stuff and it woud suck....reruns of the old episodes would be cool.
shareIf you have Comcast On Demand - go to the On Demand section, choose the Kids section and then choose Kabillion and then choose Bobbys World - theres about 6 or 7 episodes on there right now - or at least there are here in Michigan - dont know if its different in different parts of the country.

I concure with the YAY Michigan! Yeah comcast is not the greatest, but having the on demand is good. It just makes it so when you get bored with what isn't on tv and so you press that button and it gives you a whole new set of options, and you don't have to pay as you watch. I hope they still have episodes when I go back home in a few weeks!

I would be excited if not for the fact that the animation would be totally different and I know as a fact CG would somehow be added. Also this post is 2 years old so I doubt it actually is coming back. I'd love to see a DVD though.

Also, considering Fox's history with animation on the network and that an animation show (The Simpsons) was the savior for their network when it was struggling not once but twice, 1 or 2 blocks with no children's programming is nothing.
