The most beautiful fairy tale story

And I am sad that it cannot be made into a live action film...or can it? Would anyone watch it? Who would write it or direct it? Further more, who would star in it?

I think a Sailormoon movie would be difficult to make. I mean, where would it start? If it started at the beginning, it would be hard to introduce all of the sailor soldiers in one movie. If it started where all of the girls are already sailor soldiers, then people might be confused.

Personally, I would want it to be a trilogy. The first movie could focus only on Sailormoon, Tuxedo Kamen, and Sailor V. The second movie could introduce the rest of the inner team and the Silver Millenium. The third movie could be about the final battle against the Dark Kingdom. Or, you know, something like that, just so it's not too rushed or cheesy.

I would certainly watch it no matter what it turned out to be.

I would love that idea and I wish it could be as great as the Batman film. No I don't, I just can't imagine what would a Sailor Moon the live action film.

I dont really get all the excitement around the idea of a movie. We already have a live-action series with a movie!

I would definitely see it but look at Dragon Ball movie. It wasnt quite popular I'd have to say.

Having the pleasure of just seen the entire series in its original Japanese form, part of me would like to see a live-action movie. First, look back at "Speed Racer" in 2008 and forget that it didn't make its $$$. I thought it was fantastically entertainning as an Anime-movie, and I don't think I'm alone. A "Sailor Moon" movie should follow its example and establish the plot and characters right away. If you want to see the full story of how the Sailor warriors met, that's what the Anime and Manga is for. The movie should establish the Sailor warriors right away and have a quick flashback/montage of the girls meeting and discovering their identities. A flashback/montage shouldn't be that complicated for the unititiated to get with the program. That would leave more time for a full plot with the Dark Kingdom.

But more importantly, I think it should be made by the Japanese studios (with Japanese actors), which would lead to dubbed english versions, an inevitable uproar of the dubbing, and eventually unofficial subtitled versions and then finally official subtitled versions (once the American studio finally saw our point). Alternatly, I fear American studios will have learned nothing from the reaction of the english-dubbed-and-butchered Anime version in the 1990's, and that American-made version would be worse off. Either that, or the Japanense and American studios work together for the right compromised version. Similar to the filming of the new "Godzilla' remake. And if the American studios still feel Americans are illiterate, they would hopefully provide decent dubbing.
