The Tale Of The Fire Ghost

What do you think of this episode? It's one of my favorites next to The Dead Man's Float and like that one is both scary and entertaining. I think it's probably one of the most creative episodes with the concept of fire as a living, deadly entity which might seem silly to some but the episode makes it work. The two sibling characters are both realistic and likeable, and Jake makes for a good supporting protagonist. The titular Fire Ghost reminds me of Freddy Krueger for some reason.

Always thought it was an underrated one.

I'm surprised it isn't mentioned more often.

The only thing that kills this one for me is that the Fire Ghost is brought to life by looking at a flame. People stare at fire all the time, but this episode acts as if nobody ever does.

The ghost always scared me when I was younger. He's still a little unsettling today.

Let's say no to homophonia. We all sound the same inside.

Something about his burnt, charred appearance combined with that evil grin of his definitely makes him a scary villain.

One hundred % underrated episode, love the atmosphere and as others have said the fire ghost is sick! Even for a kids show.
