Tale of the Pinball Wizard

Great episode and nice twist.

Does this episode remind anyone of 1983's Nightmare's Emilo Estevez story Battle of the Bishop?

I haven't seen that movie in awhile, but I can see where it would remind you of that. I always enjoyed this episode, too. The pinball sound effects were pretty cool and the idea of being trapped inside a game was interesting.

Yeah now that you mention it. Pinball Wizard was one of my favorites from the series. I thought Bishop of Battle was the best story from Nightmares.

One of my favorite episodes. Love the premise and uber-dark ending.

Trapped forever in a game. No resting would be hell

One of the series' best. The ending is depressingly good!

As undeserving as the kid's fate was (in my not-so cynical way of thinking I'd like to believe he eventually found a way out), there's no denying that was quite a ballsy way to end a family-friendly show that for the most part had happy endings.
