It was a great show. I remember seeing every episode, although I doubt it will ever air on TV again

One of the greatest miniseries I´ve ever seen! The casting with Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Beals and Lisa Hartman Black was excellent and they said they shot a special ending of this series for us European viewers...

reply

Is it available anywhere? I'm actually making it my mission to see everything Jennifer Beals has been in.

reply

And it's mine to do the same with Drew Barrymore, so if anyone knows where it's available, that would be great.

reply

Woul love to see it on dvd!

reply

A special ending for European viewers? What was different about the ending from the US/Canadian viewers?

reply

*snicker* There was no ending.... It was canceled before they could close up all the lose ends so we were left with a handful of cliffhangers.

Hurricane Ike -- Category 2, my ass!
Galveston will rebuild!

reply

I had no idea, really? Well, what was the US ending?

One of the last things if I recall well is that we get to know the truth about Michael T. Weiss's character. In France we saw it as a mini series, or a very long 2 parts movie. Something like that. Should check my tape to be sure.

I loved this short-lived TV nighttime soap opera. Not only was Michael T. Weiss from Days of Our Lives in it, but also it had Scott Bryce and Brian Bloom from As the World Turns. It was a good, well-written show!

reply

Yeah, I'd love a wrap-up, even if it's only commentary from one of the actors or writers. I remember something with Tuesday Knight's character Joy getting struck by lightning.

reply

There was no new filmed scenes - just Lisa Hartman providing narration for the characters fate after the cliffhanger.

reply

I always wondered what happened with the cliffhangers! Can you tell us?

reply

*bump!* I'd love to find out what happened, especially to Joy.

The Series was very well received and very highly rated. Alas, it was in the same time slot as Aaron Spelling's other Seties on ABC. That series could not compete with 2000 Malibu Road. This Aaron chose to not continue so that his pet project would become a hit.
