My Hong Kong friends insist this is based on a real guy as depicted in the film, and that he retired in a billionaire in Canada. (And their understanding of him is not that he was a cop, but that he was a mob boss.)

Yet, I can't find any information on the "real" Lee Rock (in English anyway). Anyone have any info on the guy?
