I don't get something in this picture


There was a point where Liz flips off the pimp, and he says, "I didn't see. Was that the left hand or right hand?" She replies, "Take your pick."

I'm sorry, but I don't get it. There's a meaning to flipping off someone with one hand, and a different one for the other? What, then? I thought if someone flipped you off with his/her left hand, it was because they were left-handed.

Someone help me with this, please.

That's not what exactly what he says. He says, "Was that third finger left hand or third finger right." He doesn't say that because he was curious which hand she used to give him the finger. It was just a sarcastic way of letting her know that even though he had his back to her, he knew she was flipping him off. Her responce, "Take your *beep* pick!" was simply a sarcastic responce to a sarcastic question.
