Remake

Anyone else think it would be awesome if this movie was remade with a darker theme to it (and not by Disney). I was thinking along the lines of "The Grey" for the first part where the sled drivers are being stalked by wolves, then the rest of the movie can be narriated like call of the wild (but darker). Any thoughts?
