Horrible fascist propaganda

No progress, no democracy, no technology, no industry, no individualism, no art, for everyone except for Mikhalkov. Without these things which preconditioned the invention of movie camera, this Russian jingoist with dangerous reactionary ideas would never get a chance to make this unsubtle nationalistic pro-rape fascist nonsense.

I was thinking of seeing this film at a free screening at an art gallery.
But after reading this post and then looking into who Mikhalkov was, I am not sure I want to be drawn into any art produced by someone who held such strong 0 and as far as I am concerned controversial - nationalistic views.
Can anyone convince me otherwise?

reply

Why on earth anyone should convince you into anything? Go see it yourself. If you like it, cool, if you don't like it, that's cool too. Jeez... By the way, great movie and Mikhalkov is among the best directors out there.

Typical case of posting without ever watching this piece of cinematic beauty. Typical propaganda: opinion without knowledge just to set people up against each other.
